Security Features
This section allows you to configure security options. If you need to protect video conference sessions against potential access by unauthorized users, it is good to carefully configure these parameters.
Default Password: Set a default password for the conference. If you choose the No option, the room password can be configured directly within the conference, after the user has logged in. If you choose this option and if you are using the standard Jitsi Meet server, it is good to remember that all conference participants will be moderators and, therefore, they can also change security settings (including changing the room password). If you choose the Yes option instead, the password used to protect the conference will be set as specified below and it will not be possible to change it from within the room in any case.
Password: Set the default password for the conference. The password must be 8 to 64 characters long, must contain at least one uppercase letter, at least one lowercase letter, and at least one number.
Security Control: Enable/disable the button for security settings control.
Lobby Mode: Activate or deactivate the Lobby Mode function. If enabled, all users trying to participate must be formally authorized to connect to the conference.
